For The Love Of Shoes!

I had a lovely week last week. Pottering at home, catching up on much needed admin chores, tidying cupboards and spring cleaning the house (I know, this sounds actually rather boring but as an organisation and neat freak I was really chuffed with myself).

Last Tuesday added to my lovely week with an invitation to a styling event with the fabulous Alexandra Moore from www.alexandramoore.co.uk  Alex is an Essex based Personal Stylist and we had connected through Instagram. Alex kindly sent me and my friend Natarsha an invitation to come along for a fun evening, 'For The Love of Shoe' at the flagship store of Lucy Choi London.

Lucy Choi is the niece of the hugely famous shoe designer Jimmy Choo who is, no
doubt, her role model. Lucy's vision is to provide comfort, wear ability and shoes that have the wow-factor with a bit of a twist but at the same time high quality at a 'treatable' price.

At the event Alex did a short styling talk showing us how to style some of Lucy's shoes with a few outfits she had bought along. It was great to see another stylist in action and along with these absolutely stunning shoes (and of course the Prosecco and chocolates), the evening was such a pleasure to attend.

Lucy explained that she doesn't particularly follow fashion trends, she prefers to create styles that are a reflection of her brand which is unique and playful. Like the brand states, the 'Rock and Royal' aspect comes through - 'Rock' being the rock chick style of  Kate Moss and 'Royal' being the more elegant, classic Princess Kate. As she also explained, there is a shoe there for every woman of every age with various heel styles from block and kitten into the high heels and towering stiletto's.

If you are ever in the Connaught Street vicinity of London it is worth a visit to Lucy Choi London to browse these beautiful, elegant and stunning shoes. I know I will be venturing back in the near future with a few girlfriends in tow. With a wedding coming up in the Summer it could be my excuse for a special shoe treat!
